Manager, Projects and Delivery

The Manager, Projects and Delivery will play a key role on the management team of Fastloop and will have full financial and operating responsibility for the Project Management and Technical Delivery functions of the company. In order to fulfill Fastloop’s purpose of Enabling Technology’s Potential, the Manager, Projects and Delivery will create world-class project management processes and internal production/delivery solutions that will ensure consistent service excellence, produce industry leading productivity and deliver top quartile technical delivery across all product and professional services initiatives.  

This person will be a "role up their sleeves doer" that has a strategic mindset to continually improve and grow all facets of their responsibility. The Manager, Projects and Delivery will not need to be overly technical, but will be dealing with large and complex technology projects so has to be familiar with technical project management.

In this role, you will:    

• Lead, manage and develop a team of Project Managers and Project Administrators responsible for all client and technical product delivery across a wide range of Professional Services clients and internal Product Development initiatives;  
• Implement and manage Project Management and Technical Delivery software and processes to ensure industry leading performance is achieved consistently.  
• Define delivery processes, systems and insights  

• Work closely with the Sales and Strategy teams on client onboarding, management, renewal, upselling, etc to continuously improve sales processes and customer lifecycle management;  
• Collaborate extremely closely with the Technology Team to deliver efficiency improvements in product delivery;  
• Create and deliver on company-wide project metrics to improve visibility, decision making and core operational and customer metrics;  
• Plan and deliver change management / rollout / adoption plans;  
• Responsible for developing and delivering on both business and technical product roadmaps, meeting jointly-defined KPIs and success outcomes for our business, our clients and our internal teams;    

• Working with both internal teams, external stakeholders and clients, you will manage the entire sequence of prioritized features and projects the teams are delivering, including the product roadmap, development milestones, and changing client demands;  
• Working as part of agile teams, you will constantly maintain alignment by managing all company resourcing, including juggling changing priorities of various stakeholders with business priorities and ever-changing product roadmap, development lifecycle and client deadlines;  
• Accountable for delivering profitability, resource, timelines and other KPI metrics for all company projects – including those which you will independently manage, those directly managed by your team, as well as those your team will oversee.

• Significant experience and expertise (5+ years) in overall project management and project delivery in technology and/or professional services sectors;
• Bachelors or equivalent experience in computer science, project management or a related field;  
• PMP or equivalent certification is preferred;  

• Experience creating, implementing and managing project management software, PSA and/or resourcing software and process, preferably in the technology space;  
• Direct engagement in the full life-cycle of multiple technical or business-focused systems;  
• Formal training or significant experience in requirements gathering, definition of tasks, etc. and full cycle delivery;  
• Familiarity with agile methodologies for business and digital transformation - ideally within scrum and Kanban  
• Experience within medium/large organization and enterprise environments with complex stakeholder structures;

• Flawless written and verbal communication skills, both in a business and project management context; and,  
• Working knowledge of JIRA, Microsoft Office, Google Workspaces products (Sheets, etc) and other business tools as required.
