About the Opportunity
As a Fastloop Project Coordinator you will play a key role in supporting the Fastloop project team with key deliverables that are integral to the success of the project. You will assist the project manager with tracking of project tasks, coordination of meetings and key milestone activities. You will have the opportunity to help drive business value for clients while you innovate, continue to grow and have fun while doing it. The Project Coordinator is a vital member of the project team. Their primary responsibilities are to perform basic administration functions, provide analysis, documentation of certain project aspects and assist the Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Professionally engage with a wide range of stakeholders as a client facing point of contact
- Efficiently coordinate project meetings and deliverables to achieve goals
- Participate in Scrums and Project sprints as well as client updates by preparing and managing minutes, agendas, logistics, project deliverables, reports and other documentation
- Work closely with managers and technical leads to collect, and analyze project information, providing input and recommendations of task management to project team based on in-depth understanding of project scope
- Manage project boards through user stories and backlogs and prioritise tasks based on changing requirements
- Work with Snr PM to review time tracking of tasks to ensure accurate billing
- Provide support to Snr PM and business leaders on existing projects and new business initiatives.
- Understand and facilitate formal escalation and review processes
- Apply and reinforce agile methodologies (kanban and scrum) for collaboration across project delivery
- Facilitate open and clear communication around project expectations, roadblocks and change requests
- Under the mentorship of Service Delivery leadership, grow into the role of Product Owner
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Must Haves
- Working knowledge of Scrum/Kanban and Agile Development Methodology
- Experience creating and managing workflow in Jira and Confluence
- Experience creating PowerPoint presentations for project kick offs and updates
- Highly effective communication and presentation skills
- Comfortability working in a fast paced environment with project ambiguity
- A desire for developing and maintaining order and structure
- Attention to detail, high administrative skills and an appreciation for well written documentation.
- Drive, adaptability, and innate sense of urgency with the flexibility to adjust to changes
- Ability to build and maintain good working relationships and collaborate with others to achieve project objectives.
- Ability to analyze business or technical problems and propose and implement solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to exercise mature judgement and diplomacy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Nice to Haves
- Technical background with knowledge of data & analytics and/or software and Cloud development
- Certifications in agile methodology / scrum master certification.
